SAMANCI: KARATAY IS BECOMING MORE BEAUTIFUL DAY BY DAY

Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, and  Gülay Samancı, the AK Party Deputy of Konya, came together with the citizens at the Karaaslan Picnic Garden, which is Turkey's first individual picnic garden with an area of approximately 100 thousand square meters. Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, said “We will continue to put the park, garden, and green area projects in our county into practice, where our citizens can breathe easily and which contribute to their peace and happiness.” Gülay Samancı, the AK Party Deputy of Konya, emphasized that the county is becoming more beautiful day by day with the projects carried out by Karatay Municipality.

Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay and  Gülay Samancı, the Deputy to the Parliament, visited the tables of the citizens who preferred Karaaslan Picnic Garden, the first individual picnic area of Turkey, which was established on an area of ​​approximately 100 thousand square meters and which has attracted considerable attention from the people of Konya since the date of service, and chatted with the fellow citizens for a while.

KARATAY IS MORE BEAUTIFUL WITH ITS PARKS, GARDENS AND GREEN AREAS

Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, who asked the citizens whether or not they had any demands related to the Picnic Garden and other areas, reminded that the Karaaslan Picnic Garden was established on an area of approximately 100 thousand square meters and that it was the first individual picnic garden of Turkey.

Kılca, the Mayor, said: “"As in all of Turkey, Konya has also passed through a stressful period during the outbreak. After the restrictions, we entered a new period, and now we met with our fellow citizens who stopped by our Karaaslan Picnic Garden. Our Karaaslan Picnic Garden is a new attraction center of our Konya with its barbecue areas, camellias, sinks, landscape plants, fitness and children's playground, and many social facilities such as a masjid. The interest of our fellow citizens is much higher, especially during the summer months and hot weather. In addition to our Karaaslan Picnic Garden with 454 individual picnic areas of 100 square meters, the Lavender Garden, which is located right across our garden, has also become a new frequent visited destination for our fellow citizens. Our fellow citizens come to our garden, where there is this delightful riot of scents and colors, and both collect beautiful memories and immortalize these moments with beautiful photo frames. Our Karatay Zoo, City Park, Olympic Park, Justice Park, Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu Park, 15 Temmuz Park, Aşkar Höyüğü Park, Karaaslan and Saraçoğlu Hobby Gardens and many more green areas are proof of the priority we give to the peace and happiness of our citizens as Karatay Municipality. We will continue to do whatever it takes to increase the happiness of our fellow citizens. I hereby invite all our fellow citizens to our parks, gardens and green spaces.”

Gülay Samancı, the AK Party Deputy of Konya, emphasized that Karatay Municipality has done important works to increase green areas, especially in the county, and produce projects that will contribute to the peace of citizens, and thanked Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay.

Gülay Samancı said: “Karatay is really a beautiful county for our citizens from Konya due to wits parks, gardens, and many facilities.  Karatay Municipality has a great effort in this regard. Unfortunately, these areas were left empty during the outbreak, but thankfully, with the new era, images reminiscent of our old days began to reappear. We hope that these days will pass and we will return to the days when we had chats as before and as we wished, embraced our loved ones, and had our children run and have fun as much as they wanted.
